Gary Henson is currently in his first term on the city council and serves in Position 1. He brings diverse experience to the council from an active background in local politics, over 30 years as a minister in the Houston area, and from his present occupation in mortgage banking. He has also been a Christian Marriage and Family Counselor for over 25 years.
Councilman Henson is a long time resident of Shenandoah and has raised five children with his wife of 30 years. He is also a veteran of the United States Army and served during the Viet Nam War. His interests include church involvement, golf, fishing, gardening and exercising.
